Edge lit
The Tanto internal ultra slim light box is another edge lit unit, much like the Katana ultra slim light box. At 37mm deep, the Tanto light box uses T5 florescent tubes to illuminate a sheet of elit edge lit acrylic and has a magnetic front loading frame enabling quick and easy change of graphics. The main difference is that the frame is screen printed onto a 1mm sheet of polycarbonate anti glare with magnetic tape on the inside. This is magnetically attached to the light box profile of the light box and easily removed for access to the backlit print or Duratrans. Click here to see poster access on the picture to the right.

Light box Frame: Aluminium back panel, flat profile frame, only 37mm deep with magnetic top profile.
Colour: Anodised silver.

Protective sheet: Polycarbonate anti glare, thickness 1,0 mm provided with magnetic tape on the inside and a 40mm screen printed border in RAL 9006 to match frame.
Electrical: T5 tubes, cable and plug. EC approved.*

* Philips T5 Daylight tubes have an average lifetime of 20,000 hours. These tubes can be purchased at most local hardware stores and are easily replaceable within the light box, unlike Cold Cathode or LED light boxes.
We can produce photo quality inkjet prints onto backlit film or photographic Duratrans print for your light box, they can be designed
